Alzheimer’s is a disease that affects the brain and causes more than 83,000 deaths in the US per year. My great aunt was one of those many deaths. This is a story told in the view of my aunt, who had to watch her mother mentally digress and eventually die with this terrible disease.
"I miss the simpleness of that time." Piper interviews her dad about his childhood and expectations on what he thought today would be like. This story is important because it shows time eras change society and people.
